Why does everything taste better on vacation? This small collection, "Happiness Unleashed," was painted in early August after a 3-weeks stint in the record-breaking summer heat of the East Coast. I was still full of that vacation vibe, brimming with a sense of wonder and riding the high of long summer nights spent with family and friends. Yes, I, the artist, did indulge in my fair share of sweet treats, which never tasted better after a long hike in Acadia, sailing the bay, and exploring the streets of New York.
